I'm Rita Moreira, a junior UX designer based in Switzerland.
Formerly a business informatics graduate and BI consultant, I'm now reorienting myself towards UX design, a field that has always resonated with me throughout my previous studies and work.
I'm passionate about generative art, AI and UX. I love understanding things and people, so UX research is something that thrills me. I also love creating interactive prototypes, whether they are physical objects or digital interfaces.
I consider myself an open-minded and active listener, critical thinker, who likes to work hands-on. I'm a team player, but I enjoy working independently to build my thinking and ideas.

I’m following this master to consolidate my learning about UX and IxD. So far, through various projects, I had the opportunity to explore many important fields such as : design thinking, user research, fast prototyping of both tangible and digital interfaces, 3D modeling and printing, coding in Arduino, creative coding with p5.js and experimentation with ML models.

SAWI Academy for Marketing and Communication SA
This certificate aims to provide practical knowledge in the application of methods and techniques related to the UX Design profession, including the research, analysis and testing stages. During the training, we conducted a pro-bono project for a local company that we solved with the design sprint method. As a diploma project, I created the first mobile prototype of the software for independent midwives developed by Gammadia SA, a company based in Lausanne.

I had the opportunity to do my 3rd year of bachelor in Finland as part of a double degree program. Overall with this bachelor, I gained strong coding skills both in back-end or front-end. I learned also about UML and BPMN which I think can be of great value when it comes to designing services or software interfaces.
